1. Project process: The feed water is taken from the Persian Gulf through an open intake system, is chlorinated, and subsequently sent to an extensive pretreatment unit via a transfer pipeline. The water is then stored in tanks. The filtered water in the tanks is sent to cartridge filters by a pumping station and conducted towards the SWRO units. In order to distribute the water to the city of Bushehr, a 7 km transfer pipeline is constructed from the concrete permeate tank to the city's water network.
2. Main components: Open intake system, pretreatment, cartridge filters, high pressure pumps, pressure vessels and membranes, CIP unit, raw water and permeate storage tanks, chemical dosing unit, instrumentation and PLC system, sub-station, MV and LV panels.
3. Associated companies: The design and equipment are supplied by Axiom and B2A, Austria. All other endeavors are carried out by NVCo.
