Technical details
Project process
Feed water is taken from the Persian Gulf through an open intake system, chlorinated and sent to an extensive pretreatment unit. Filtered water is stored, then sent to cartridge filters and SWRO units. A 7 km transfer pipeline connects the permeate tank to Bushehr’s water network.
Main components
Open intake system, pretreatment, cartridge filters, high pressure pumps, pressure vessels and membranes, CIP unit, raw water and permeate storage tanks, chemical dosing unit, instrumentation and PLC system, substation, MV and LV panels.

Design and equipment by Axiom and B2A (Austria). All other work carried out by NVCo.
