Overview
After the successful construction and operation of Phase I, contracts for the second and third phases were won in separate tenders. Feed water is supplied from the Oman Sea via a direct intake system, pretreated through gravity sand filters, then directed to cartridge filters and SWRO units. Permeate enters the Chabahar and Konarak water distribution network.
Main components
Direct intake system and piping, gravity sand filters, filtered water pump station and reservoir tank, chemical dosing unit, cartridge filters, high pressure pumps, pressure vessels and membranes, storage tanks, CIP unit, permeate pumping station and pipeline.
Associated companies
Design and equipment by Axiom (Austria) and B2A (Austria). All other work carried out by NVCo.
